The real model of the M249 MK.II is the light standard machine gun of the US armed forces and has been used in combat for several years. The Airsoft version has also been very popular for years because this model is very detailed and the handling is very close to the original. With its 6.2 kg it is still one of the lighter machine gun versions in the airsoft scene however s still made of robust materials and on the field reliable.
