The blade is non-stick coated and made of tool steel with a Rockwell hardness of 55 HRC. The ax head is inseparable from the handle and the weight is optimally distributed. The handle of the Fiskars ax is ergonomically shaped and slip-resistant coated, providing a good grip and safe working. Wears the seal " Safety Tested".
