The Ochsenkopf Grinding and Honing Stone is equipped with one side with coarse grain for quick grinding and one side with fine grain for fine grinding or honing. The hard Silicon Carbide is ideal for tools with mainly flat cutting edges such as axes, hatchets, chisels and knives.

Application:
- With thin oil for a fine finish
- With petroleum for a normal cut
- With water for a coarser finish
- Dry for particularly strong abrasion
