Information
The Vulcan "QRS" (Quick Release System) is a variant of the tried and true Vulcan plate carrier. The unique release system can be mounted either on the right or left side and also allows for partial release. The guide for the ripcord is inside the shoulder strap and can also be used as a cable channel. The matching Ballistic plates are the same as by the normal Vulcan carrier. SAPI M and Bw Standard Sk4 + soft ballistics are suitable. The Vulcan QRS is as usual from Zentauron compatible with both versions of the Vulcans and all accessories. The front of the Vulcan QRS is unchanged from the base plate carrier and has a kangaroo pouch in the front flap to accommodate magazines or guidance material. On the inside are the openings to the plate pockets, and two ergonomically shaped cushions that increase comfort and ventilation significantly. The Vulcan QRS was designed as a further development of the basic version through experience with military units that require due to their range of tasks a direct releasable vest.
