In 1916, the German army introduced a steel helmet for the first time. The M16 steel helmet dramatically changed the appearance of the German soldier. The liner (3 pads) is made of leather and features a drawstring for better adjustment to the shape of the head. Padded with 3 cushions. Can easily be reduced to smaller sizes by inserting additional pads. With chin strap and side ventilation lugs.
