The shoes are very comfortable, warm, lightweight and the profile is great. However, the outer material and laces didn't really last long. I bought the shoes almost exactly one year ago. On average, maybe one day a week (!) worn and not really exposed to high standards. The lacing is torn on the hook because they are too sharp, the outer material is torn on the front of the toes between the leather trimmings. For such “combat boots” a weak performance.

I ordered the boots for the Strong Viking Run in Fürstenau a year ago, the first impression was very promising, tight fit, stiff lateral reinforcement so that I never even ran the risk of turning over during the run. So far so good, now the big BUT, after a break of a few months, I set off on a hike with heavy luggage (25kg) along the Rheinsteig trail, rocky terrain with steep climbs, some of which are very heavy on boulders. After just one day, the ball of the foot on the right (at the front bend) began to tear, and the left boot followed on the third day. After a week, moved on now and approx. 120 km, the boots looked as if I had worn them over 2000 km over hill and stone. Meanwhile, the hike was in August and I also carried it along the Hermannsweg for two stages, there are holes on the side of the boots and they are no longer waterproof, the sole comes off at the front of the tip up to 5 cm further and I have had to dispose of it. The distance I covered with the boots was approx. 500 +/- a few km. I am aware that these are not high-end boots but that surprised me, my Meindl, which I bought for 180 euros, are still as new after the same mileage, I think that says a lot about the price/performance ratio. I would buy them again, no, not even as everyday boots.

destroyed in less than 3 months just by doing a few short steps. all the front has come off and the shoes are no longer waterproof. For the price not even worth a pair of discounter shoes, too bad.

The shoe meets my idea of being comfortable to wear keeps you warm and dry, the size you have is also perfect

Two have my first boots!! They were very comfortable. Thanks to this experience, I ordered them again. I can recommend the shoes!!!!
