The Haix BW Combat Boot Heavy – Commander GTX (2018 Model) is the current operational model of the German Armed Forces and is gradually replacing the 2007 model. Developed exclusively for the troops, this full-leather boot stands for maximum robustness, insulation, water resistance, and data-start="732" data-end="752">Breathability – now also available in various used conditions.

The oiled, hydrophobic nubuck leather (2.6–2.8 mm) combined with the 4-layer GORE-TEX® Performance membrane offers optimal protection in any weather. The abrasion-resistant inner lining with fleece layer ensures high climate comfort throughout all seasons. The moisture-absorbing insole, the HAIX® Climate System with Micro-Dry lining and AIRFLOW channels ensure a balanced foot climate, even on long marches. The non-slip rubber/PU sole with terrain profile is oil and Petrol-resistant, non-chalking, and cold-insulating. The 2-zone lacing system with Comfort Tongue allows for individual adjustment in the foot and upper area. With a shock-absorbing insole, reinforced heel cup, closed lacing, and rubber edging at the toe and heel, this shoe is ideal for tactical use, trekking, hunting, or mountain tours.
