Authentic US bag, large volume and light weight, the aluminum frame is not even felt on the back, everything rests on the kidneys it's perfect. BUT: The shoulder straps of the bag and the kidney foam pad are of poor quality, because they are not original. One of my straps broke after first use, there are more modern ALICE special replacement kits available but almost only in the USA. You will probably have to make some adjustments to your bag as you go. That's why 4 stars. Overall very very good product?

The backpack was used once with a load of 10 kg. Both straps on the backpack are then torn. It's a shame actually! Shouldn't happen with an army backpack! I bought one of these 3 years ago, the straps lasted 3 years under heavy load!
