The FMA Ballistic Helmet is made of reinforced nylon polymer and, like its real-world counterpart, is very lightweight. It features an NVG mounting platform on the front and rails on both sides for attaching lights, headsets, cameras, or other equipment. The helmet also comes with a set of Velcro patches and pads that can be customized to individual needs. The chin strap is partially covered in leather and can be adjusted at four points. Additionally, a tensioning dial at the back of the helmet adjusts a plastic rail inside the helmet, securing it to the head. This stabilizes the helmet, preventing wobbling and ensuring a secure fit even with the chin strap unfastened.
