Savotta - Backpack Jääkäri L 40 L

The robust and reliable Savotta Jääkäri L backpack was developed based on the Border Patrol backpack used by the Finnish border guard and hunters. Its slim design makes it suitable for ski expeditions or tours in challenging terrain. The sturdy frame system, compression straps, and padded shoulder and hip straps ensure comfortable carrying, even with heavy loads. The internal frame structure is designed to keep the backpack stable and secure, even in dense vegetation, without snagging. Wide, padded shoulder and hip straps optimally balance the weight. Load control straps allow the backpack to be worn close to the body, which is especially useful when running. The main compartment features a waterproof roll-top closure with a 25 mm buckle. This allows for overpacking and stepless adjustment of the backpack's height between 60 and 80 cm. An additional lid with adjustable straps on both sides provides further protection for the contents. It is complemented by a zippered pocket and a Velcro panel (5 x 13 cm) for attaching a name patch. Furthermore, the main compartment is divided into a lower and upper section. The lower section is particularly suitable for storing a sleeping bag. A laptop also fits comfortably. The upper section has an opening for routing a hydration system to the outside.
