Carinthia Tropen – Lightweight summer sleeping bag for hot and humid nights

The Carinthia Tropen is the perfect summer sleeping bag for warm and tropical conditions. Its light weight and extremely small pack size make it the ideal companion for outdoor adventures in hot and humid temperatures. The vapor-permeable construction ensures pleasant sleeping comfort by wicking excess moisture to the outside – a must for muggy nights in warm regions.

Particularly practical is the integrated mosquito net, which reliably protects you from insects without restricting air circulation. The Shelltrans outer shell provides an additional layer of warmth that keeps you comfortably warm even on cool mornings or foggy nights. The Tropen can also be perfectly combined with the Defence 4 sleeping bag, giving you ideal equipment for changeable climates and temperatures. In combination they provide a comfort rating of -40°C and an extreme rating of -55°C (according to the manufacturer).

Care instructions for G-LOFT products

The sleeping bag should be aired out after every trip and only washed when it is really necessary. Hand washing is the gentlest method. To do this, soak it thoroughly in the bathtub with warm water and synthetic detergent, work it through gently and rinse several times. G-LOFT is suitable for machine washing and tumble drying. The prerequisite for machine cleaning is a drum with at least 7 kg capacity. Before washing, close the zippers and open all drawcords, turn the sleeping bag inside out. Always wash the product separately on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 °C with a mild detergent. Dry in fresh air or in a tumble dryer at a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute at the lowest temperature.
