The American brand Nalgene was founded in 1949 in the US state of New York and has since become one of the best-known manufacturers of water bottles and drinking vessels worldwide.

How to properly use Nalgene bottles on the go

The manufacturer offers both single-use and multi-use closures, allowing you to access the contents via a fold-out spout or a classic screw cap. The former is helpful for drinking while moving, while the classic screw cap makes pouring water easier.

Models with a sipper tube can be locked in place; that is, before packing the bottle, a clip must be flipped to prevent accidental release of the contents. As an additional accessory, the manufacturer's sturdy straws are recommended, allowing for family-friendly drinking without having to open the bottle. Today primarily known for its drinking bottles, Emanuel Goldberg mainly produced chemical equipment in the company's early years. The company's very first branded product was a pipette holder.

- The intention to establish regular bottle production at Nalgene only arose when chemical products such as centrifuge bottles were increasingly repurposed as hiking and excursion equipment due to their robust and practical nature.

Originally working on products based on polyethylene, Nalgene's bottles are now primarily made of Tritan and are completely BPA-free, thus not affecting the taste and hygiene of the drinking liquids.
