The Light My Fire Swedish FireSteel Army 2in1 Bio is the larger, more powerful version of the popular FireSteel Scout. With this fire starter, you can reliably light a fire in any weather and at any altitude. The up to 3,000°C hot sparks guarantee quick ignition, no matter the conditions. The FireSteel Army offers up to 12,000 strikes, giving it an extremely long service life and making it your long-term companion in any situation.
The Swedish FireSteel consists of an ignition rod and a striker, which together are responsible for producing sparks. The striker is drawn along the ignition rod, creating hot metal shavings that oxidize immediately and generate a spark. This difference makes the Swedish FireSteel one of the most reliable fire starters on the market.
Application
- Collect small, dry materials such as bark or sticks.
- Scrape off some shavings with the FireSteel and place them under the fuel.
- Ignite the shavings – your fire should spread quickly.
