Katadyn - Vario water filter

The Katadyn Vario water filter from the Backcountry series offers various filtration options. Whether clear, cloudy, or chemically smelling water – the Vario pump filter filters it with a cleanable ceramic dirt filter and a low-resistance microbiological fiberglass filter. For cloudy water, the "Longer Life" mode can be activated. The "Faster Flow" mode uses the fiberglass filter with direct flow, increasing the pump output to up to 2 liters per minute. To reduce chemicals and unpleasant tastes, the activated carbon granules can be replaced regularly. The dual pump mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. Replacement filter elements are available individually and are easy to replace (ceramic disc, fiberglass filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granules).
The bottle is not included. The Vario water filter is suitable for bottles with a neck diameter of 55 mm, such as the Klean Kanteen Wide.
