The Petzl Falcon Mountain sit harness in black and grey is particularly well-suited for rescue operations using lead climbing techniques. The harness features a ventral attachment point with a textile webbing strap, which facilitates movement using lead climbing techniques and improves walking comfort.
The harness is ultralight and designed for comfort. Both the waist belt and leg loops are semi-rigid and narrow, featuring 3D foam padding. This achieves an optimal balance between comfort, weight, and bulk. The waist belt is specifically designed to be narrower at the hips for greater comfort and freedom of movement during approach and ground work. Side attachment loops made of webbing are provided for occasional use, further reducing pack size and weight.
The harness is ergonomically designed and equipped with small, self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for quick and easy adjustment. The RING2RING accessory can be attached to the ventral attachment point for better organization of gear such as lanyards, descenders, rope clamps, or chest straps. The harness also features a rear plastic loop for attaching a TOP or TOP CROLL L chest strap.
The seatbelt features four gear loops, including two large, rigid loops at the front for easy access to equipment, and two small, flexible loops at the rear that don't interfere with wearing a backpack. The belt also offers two attachment points for CARITOOL tool holders.
