Backpacks and bags from ESSL have been used for decades by the Austrian Bundesheer and other armed forces. The name ESSL stands for affordable quality and reliability.
The RU31 backpack from ESSL was designed as a lightweight hiking backpack. The tensioned mesh back provides pleasant ventilation and increases carrying comfort. On the front there is an additional front pocket with a vertical zipper, ideal for everyday essentials.
There is an integrated rain cover in the bottom compartment. This keeps the RU 31 and its contents well protected even in wet and windy conditions. The spacious main compartment can be opened with a U-shaped zipper. Inside there is a mesh pocket that can be closed with a zipper.
