The Helikon-Tex Chicom Chest Rig is a modern interpretation of a military classic – simple, rugged and versatile. Inspired by the historic load-bearing systems from the Vietnam War era, it now offers you a lightweight, flexible platform for urban operations, CQB tactics or training scenarios. Thanks to its compact design, your gear is always within easy reach without restricting your movement.

With its three magazine pouches, which can be closed with hook-and-loop flaps or optional pull tabs, the Chicom Rig easily accommodates AK/AR magazines. The modular base can be individually expanded via side MOLLE/PALS panels – e.g. with grenade pouches, additional magazines, or IFAKs. Additional equipment can even be attached below the chest rig. A flat inner pocket with soft hook-and-loop provides space for documents or accessories from the VIS system.

A piece of military history that has made its way from the Chinese People’s Army to special forces such as the Navy SEALs – and today once again shows its strengths in everyday tactical use.
