The Petromax tripod ring allows you to build a tripod from branches. These must not be larger than 3.5 cm and are pushed through the cutouts and secured by a slight twist. This creates a cooking spot for on the go in just a few simple steps. You can hang a Dutch oven or kettle from the hook with chain over the fire and prepare your meal or hot drink in no time. The length of the chain is adjustable so it can hang lower or higher over the fire as needed.
Once your hunger is satisfied, the tripod ring can also be used to build a shelter such as a tipi. At just 450 g, this kit shouldn’t be missing from your bushcrafter gear.
