The BW folding shovel, also known as a folding or tri-fold shovel, comes from original Bundeswehr stocks and is a versatile tool for deployments, outdoor use and everyday life. Made from sturdy metal with a hardened blade, it impresses with its robustness, functionality and a compact pack size.

This shovel is more than just a classic replacement for a spade: thanks to the serrated edge on the side it can be used to cut roots and branches, and it can also be used as a hoe. This makes it perfect for digging, hoeing or clearing obstacles – whether camping, hiking, survival or in the garden.

The 3-piece construction (shovel blade, shaft, handle) is secured by a locking screw and can be folded twice. This reduces the length to only about 24 cm, making transport in a backpack, vehicle, or luggage particularly easy. When unfolded, the shovel reaches a length of approx. 58 cm while remaining light and easy to handle.

Each spade bears the engraved NSN number as well as the inscription “BUND” and is manufactured by renowned producers such as Dönges. Despite possible storage marks such as scratches or paint abrasion, it is fully functional and proves itself as a durable original. Delivery does not include a pouch.
