What does Iridium mean?
Iridium is the name given to a special type of coating on Oakley glasses that is intended to prevent reflections and improve vision in various situations, in some models additionally through polarization (see further below). In principle, it is a contrast-enhancing lens tint for even higher contrast adaptation and greater glare protection. What does polarization mean in glasses?
Many eyewear models are available with polarization or a vertical polarization filter; they are colloquially referred to as “fishing glasses” and are particularly interesting for car and boat drivers. Especially when the sun is at a medium height or the road surface is reflective when wet, they help to reduce glare.

How do you change or replace nose pads?
There are spare parts for many glasses, but not for all models. According to Oakley, in this case you should follow the instructions on the warranty page to return the sunglasses.
