GDK: The Gemeinschaft Deutscher Kommandosoldaten (GDK) chose this knife in a special color as
stands out as a commando knife.
The blade of the GDK knife is made from stainless Böhler N695 high-performance steel. Thanks to the earth-colored G-10 handle scales, the knife sits comfortably in the hand. The knife also comes with a high-quality Kydex sheath, which effectively protects it from scratches. A beautiful knife that cuts a fine figure not only outdoors but also in a display cabinet.
The GDK was founded in 2007 at the suggestion of members of the Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK). By now
there are members within and outside the Bundeswehr all over the world. The members hold positions in leading companies and institutions. The association also maintains many contacts with other organizations.
With the project “Einer von uns” (One of Us), the GDK supports the families of fallen comrades. The “Gemeinschaft Deutscher Kommandosoldaten e.V.” receives 10 euros for every GDK knife sold to support the relatives.
The GDK knife is based on a design by Andreas Weitzel. Eickhorn supplies this knife in a special colour and with special markings.
