Hydracell - HydraCell handheld lamp Shark orange

The HydraCell Shark hand lamp orange is powered by two environmentally friendly water-activated TC2D energy cells. The TC2D energy cell has a runtime of up to 60 hours and is free from toxins and harmful substances. The contents are biodegradable.
Two bright, long-lasting LEDs and a special reflector shade provide a powerful focused beam of light for any operation where reliable illumination is essential. The lens and reflector provide both a centrally concentrated beam and a wide light cone with a luminous range of up to 300 meters. The Shark is waterproof, floats in water at a 45° angle and has a built-in emergency light or strobe function.

Information on the water-activated HydraCell energy cells:
The energy cell must be immersed in water for 10–15 seconds. This moistens the salt-impregnated bridge layers and creates a connection between the magnesium core and the oxygen in the air. This initiates an electrochemical reaction that releases electrons. These are collected by the carbon-membrane cathode and converted into usable energy.
After their initial activation, the energy cells are under constantly available voltage and, for continuous use, only require occasional reactivation. The first activations can easily be carried out with any type of water. After that, it is advisable to reactivate the cells with warm to hot water until the end of their service life. This ensures the optimal reaction and full available capacity of the energy cells.
In emergencies, HydraCell energy cells can be activated and reactivated in any type of liquid (rain, stream, sea, tap and even dirty water) that is not oil-based.
