Wind Playfully Engages the Feet Thanks to the Openness of Sandals

In summer, airy realms around the feet are in demand. Despite the desired lightness, sandals must prove themselves on tours through the terrain or over long distances. Accordingly, the models for women and men at ASMC are presented in a diverse manner.

Suitable Design for Almost Any Terrain

Functionality also matters with sandals. What is quite chic as a summer shoe while strolling in the city (flip-flops), reaches its limits when walking in the forest. Shoes for outdoor activities and excursions must provide good grip on the ground of the fields, which is why trekking sandals, e.g. the popular models from Teva, are suitable. Accordingly, the profiles of the models at ASMC differ. In addition, the requirements for the material change when the shoes come into contact with water or are used for water sports. How much the feet present themselves to the outside world depends on the planned activity. We also offer unconventional shoes.

Airy Protection for the Feet

For many sporting adventures, it is important to reliably protect the toes. That's why some sandals are closed in the front and reinforced with a sturdy cap. On extensive hikes, a non-slip and structured profile as well as an architecture that keeps the foot on track are important. Some missions are filled with fine gravel or ground-level active insects. Those who do not want to constantly shake small stones out of their shoes and avoid biting confrontations should opt for an almost closed variant of the sandal. This equipment is recommended even for tours through tall grass or on rugged panoramic trails along the Mediterranean.

In this context, a controversial question comes to mind: The combination of socks and sandals is often ridiculed. Indeed, the duet seems odd when strolling in the city and should be avoided. However, the perspective is different when hiking: Those prone to sweaty feet should spare themselves the wearing ordeal of bare skin in semi-open sandals. In addition, suitable socks enhance comfort while walking, absorb moisture, and provide additional protection against intruders.
To determine the right size, we gladly refer you to the ASMC size chart, which also includes shoe sizes.
