Airsoft Weapons

Airsoft weapons are copies of real weapons and fire 6 mm plastic BB.

In Germany Airsoft weapons are categorized according to the following regulations:

Category 1: No age restrictions – Airsoft weapons with an energy of max. 0.08 joules with "CE" marking.
Category 2: over 14 years - Airsoft with an energy of max. 0.5 joules.
Category 3: over 18 years - Airsoft with an energy up to max. 7.5 joules.

These are subject to the weapon laws and are marked with an "F" in a pentagon.

We offer a large selection of Airsoft guns, ammunition and accessories at affordable prices, however, we do not sell Airsoft weapons from Category 2 and 3 to minors.

Please note that the images of targeting aids or flashlights on the packaging are not included. The use of such accessories is illegal in Germany.
Even the preparation and the possession of such devices can lead to legal consequences.

Notice obligation on the purchase of gas and signal weapons

The acquisition and ownership of gas and signal weapons which correspond to § 8 of the Weapons Act and that are stamped with the PTB approval mark are still able to be acquired permit free by owners over 18 years of age.
According to § 10, sentence 4, appendix 2, section 2, subsection 3, no. 2 and 2.1 of the weapons law, carrying of gas and signal weapons outside of the home or fenced off property is permitted only with a small firearms carrying permit.
The small firearms permit is issued through application by the local weapons authority, if the applicant is reliable and of suitable character.
In order to carry gas and signal weapons only in the own home, business room or fenced off property, no permit is required.
A permit is not required by those who transport a not ready to fire and not readily accessible weapon from one place to another.

Shooting with gas and signal weapons

All shooting outside of shooting ranges requires a permit. The shooting outside of shooting ranges without permit is only possible (§ 12 paragraph. 4 of the Weapons Law)

  1. Through the owner of the property or with his consent on fenced off property.
    • firearms whose projectiles reach a kinetic energy of not more than 7.5 joules or the design is approved according to §7 of the Weapons Act provided that the projectiles can not leave the property.

    • With firearms, of which only cartridge ammunition can be fired.

  2. With firearms, of which only cartridge ammunition can be fired,

    • by participants in theater performances or similar.

    • for giving the start shot on behalf of the organizers.

    • as control from birds on farms..

  3. With gas pistols

    • in emergency and rescue exercises or

    • for giving the starting or ending signal on behalf of the organizers at sporting events when optical or acoustic signaling is required.

Compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons

  1. Acquisition and ownership of compressed air, spring pressure and Co2 weapons
    The acquisition and ownership of compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 guns with a kinetic energy of more than 7.5 joules requires a permit (WBK) (see § 2 paragraph. 2 of the Weapons Law).
    The acquisition and ownership of compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons under 7.5 joules, which are stamped with an F-symbol is staring at 18 years of age possible without a permit (appendix § 2, section 1 and 2 in conjunction with appendix 2, section 2, subsection 2 , no. 1.1)
    The same applies to the acquisition and possession of compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons manufactured before January 1, 1970, or manufactured before 2 April 1991 in the area referred to in Article 3 of the Unification Treaty and in accordance with the regulations at that time (appendix § 2, section 1 and 2 in conjunction with appendix 2, section 2, subsection 2 no. 1.2).

  2. Carrying of compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons
    Carrying of compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons (regaurdless of energy / Joule number) requires a permit. A weapon is only carryed by who independently carries their personal weapon for use outside their home, business premises or fenced in property. § 12 , paragraph.3, no. 2 of the Weapons Act does not require any authorization for transport from one place to another when the weapon is not ready to fire and not readily accessible and provided that the transport of the weapon is nessessary. (example. transport to the gunsmith or to the shooting range).

  3. Shooting with compressed air, spring pressure and CO2 weapons
    Any shooting outside of authorized shooting ranges requires a permit (§ 12, paragraph 4, sentence, 1 of the Weapons Act).
    Exemptions in accordance with § 12, paragraph 4, no. 1 of the weapons act. The shooting outside of shooting ranges without permit can be allowed by the owner of the property or with his consent on fenced off property with firearms whose projectiles achieve a kinetic energy of not more than 7.5 joules (J ), provided that the projectiles can not leave the property.

Carrying Ban § 42 Weapons Law

The carrying ban (carrying in public) includes the following items:

  1. Replicas of firearms with the look of real firearms. including airsoft weapons)

  2. Cutting and impact weapons (combat knives, one-hand opener knives, fixed blade knives with a blade length starting at 12 cm and telescopic batons)

With the following exceptions

  • for use in photography, film , television productions or theater performances

  • for the transport in a sealed container

  • for carrying objects referred to in paragraph 1 and 2 provided a legitimate interest exists (examples: traditional customs, profession, sports such as hunting, fishing, etc., or other generally accepted purpose)
