A sweater fits everywhere and anytime
A sweater is not just a sweater. Some models are better suited for heavy, i.e., cold or rainy outdoor environments, while others are more suitable for leisure and camping in summer. This is also reflected in the choice of colors, so we offer green, black, gray, and even red color variants.
It's important that clothing fits well because only when the sweater fits properly, you have enough freedom of movement and are optimally protected against cold and moisture. Therefore, attention should be paid to ensuring that the sweater - colloquially referred to as a "pulli" - is long enough in the back to prevent the kidneys from cooling down. College sweaters or models with a hood do this task just as confidently as fleece variants.
To determine the right size, we are happy to refer to the ASMC size chart, which also includes top sizes.
Questions: Sweaters
How do the differences in material manifest themselves?
Sweaters made of virgin wool provide warmth, protection, and good insulation because virgin wool absorbs moisture and wicks it away. To keep virgin wool in shape, it is often mixed with a proportion of polyacrylic.
Cotton has similar properties to virgin wool and feels pleasant on the skin. Fleece is a synthetic fiber product that has the enormous advantage of being processed very thinly and lightly while still retaining body heat.
Mixed fabrics combine the best properties of the aforementioned materials, resulting in first-class sweaters, which of course are available in a wide selection here at ASMC. In addition to a wide selection of sweaters, ASMC also offers a variety of jackets that perfectly complement our sweaters and provide additional protection and comfort for various outdoor activities.
Which variant for which intended use?
The sweaters from our range are truly suitable for every area. Whether it's military or security-related, leisure, or outdoor areas. For example, cotton is perfect as a middle layer, even under bulletproof or security vests. Light cotton sweaters are also suitable for leisure activities. Fleece models should not be worn alone in extreme cold, but are perfect for the transitional period and moderate cold.
