The German Army (BW) rain poncho is a versatile and high-quality product suitable for a wide range of uses. It can be used not only as reliable rain protection, but also as a tent, awning, or camouflage cover. It also serves as a groundsheet or cover and allows for the waterproof packaging of items. When combined with a poncho liner, it can even be used as a summer sleeping bag.
Made from breathable and waterproof 3-layer laminate, the poncho offers optimal protection against rain and wind. Thanks to its IRR coating according to TL 8305-0290, the IR signature is also reduced.
With a breathability rating of 10,000 ml/24h and a water column rating of 15,000 ml, the BW rain poncho offers maximum comfort and keeps you dry in all weather conditions. Tape-sealed seams ensure added durability and longevity.
The poncho features eight reinforced attachment points with loops for easy adjustment to your needs. The helmet-compatible hood is equipped with bungee cords and drawstrings for a customized fit.
