Meindl – Traditional shoemaking craftsmanship
It was in 1683 that the shoemaker Petrus Meindl was first mentioned in official records. Since then, the family business in the Bavarian town of Kirchanschöring near Lake Waging has been committed to the tradition of craftsmanship. Producing high-quality footwear for the demanding outdoor market is the company’s guiding principle. Meindl focuses on quality: over 200 work steps are required to manufacture a pair of durable trekking boots. With more than 200 employees, the family business now also produces for the international market.
