With camouflage clothing from ASMC you’re properly equipped for any weather and terrain

Camouflage clothing helps people to properly equip themselves for field games or missions of any kind in order to come out on top. When choosing clothing, you should pay attention to the temperature as well as the terrain of the area of operation.

How does camouflage clothing differ? A brief introduction

Camouflage clothing has its origins in the military world. Originally, soldiers fought only in forests or jungle terrain and were meant to be harder for the enemy to spot by wearing camouflage suits. Camouflage suits were designed for changing environments as well as different temperatures. In a densely overgrown forest, for example, a T-shirt and matching trousers are sufficient. In open terrain you should opt for a parka or camouflage poncho to cover any remaining exposed skin. Camouflage clothing is also differentiated by color (beige, olive, brown, camouflage patterns), material, different carrying systems (e.g. body armor, vests) and useful accessories (e.g. camouflage cream, camouflage paint, camouflage tape). Camouflage nets also originate from the world of snipers. These are draped over the entire body and have the effect that the soldier or role-player is no longer visible from a distance and appears to blend completely into the surroundings.

Which camouflage clothing is the right one?

The right camouflage clothing depends on the mission. Since it is needed for field games, you need to pay attention to both mobility and the surrounding environment.

The simple camo suit in jungle colors: ideal for paintball on classic fields with green vegetation or for hunting in normal temperatures.

Camouflage suit in white or brown: White camouflage suits are suitable for competitions in the snow and are correspondingly thickly lined. Brown camouflage suits are not called “desert” for nothing. They are suitable for sandy terrain and high heat.

Nightfighter suit: Terrain games at night are trending. Here you should be practically invisible. The right camouflage clothing in this case is a dark “Nightfighter suit”.

Camouflage cloaks: If you want to gear up for a field game in the woods at normal temperatures, a camouflage cloak is recommended. Pay attention to the width. It should not be chosen too narrowly so that it does not hinder you while walking.

Expert tip: the new trend – urban camouflage

Here are some ideas for recreating urban camouflage, as hiding in everyday places is called in technical jargon. The basic idea of camouflage actually comes from the animal kingdom – just think of chameleons, the masters of disguise. Humans quickly adopted this “technique” for themselves, initially mainly in the military. But camouflage has now also found its way into other areas and into private life. A new direction here is the aforementioned “urban camouflage.” Whether on a park bench with matching clothing painted in the bench’s colors, or on the windowsill at home disguised as a flowerpot with a plant on your head, there are countless examples of this new trend. There are no limits to creativity here, which of course greatly increases the fun factor. Just give it a try! In addition to the private sector, this type of camouflage is also used commercially, for example for mobile phone masts. These unpopular towers with high antennas can be placed relatively inconspicuously, provided they are camouflaged.

Questions: camouflage clothing

Is wearing camouflage clothing forbidden in paintball?

Not directly, but especially in outdoor paintball matches, wearing camouflage is viewed rather skeptically, as this could be seen as somewhat glorifying war. The paint guns, called markers, already look very similar to real weapons, which is why camouflage clothing is usually avoided.

Airsoft gas / CO₂

A ghillie suit is a full-body camouflage suit. It is used by hunters as well as shooters. Since the suit covers the entire body, it is usually a poncho-style overgarment made of mesh material.

In which other areas can camouflage clothing be used?

For example, at carnival you can make a great impression on your fellow revelers with such a costume.

Should camouflage be adapted to the season?

Absolutely. In addition to the nature of the terrain (more brown tones, green tones, etc.), there are of course also seasonal differences. That’s why, for example, there are special snow camouflage capes and white camouflage clothing for tours in the snow.

What are the most common camouflage patterns?

Common camouflage patterns include Flecktarn, Woodland, MARPAT, Multicam and desert camouflage.
