The Peltor ComTac is an electronic frequency-dependent hearing protector, which suits the demand of the German military or the police. Very robust materials have been used and its specific design has been specially developed to wear the hearing protector underneath ballistic helmets. These were the main arguments for the military and police force to use this hearing protector.
The Peltor Com Tac has an electronic filter which allows an unlimited communication while being protected against impulse noise. The Peltor Com Tac has an equalizer function, adjustable volume and a foldable head band, made of a high-quality steel with a leather cover. Two regular AA batteries are required to operate the hearing protector, which achieve an average lifetime of 500 hours.
