The Savotta Side Pouch 8 Liter is the perfect addition to your Savotta Jäger XL. For example, you can store a large tarp, a hammock, clothing, a 27-series Trangia stove, fuel, water or a Jetboil stove or a gas canister.
The back is equipped with a PALS attachment strap system with tuck-in straps. Optimal attachment requires four channels wide and seven rows of PALS webbing high. The side compression straps of your pack when tightened prevent any movement of the bag and its contents.
The zipper is covered for added water repellency and protection from abrasion and dirt. The vertical webbing on the front keeps your pack's compression straps neatly above the bag so it can compress properly. They can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners and similar, leaving a gap of approximately 9cm between them. For example, you can transport axes, fishing rods, etc. stowed behind the bag.
A 25mm webbing loop and D-ring at the top of the interior rear panel allows for securing essentials, while the shallow rear compartment provides rudimentary organization for smaller items. The bottom and lower halves of the sides are lined with 210D Polyamide for added abrasion resistance.
