FMA's helmet adapters allow for the convenient attachment of Peltor or MSA headsets to helmets. The adapter features two interchangeable clamps on each side, into which the headset mounting pins or studs are clicked. In combination with the rail adapters, the earpieces can then be attached to the helmet's Picatinny rails.
The advantage of this particular adapter is that it is compatible with the two largest headset manufacturers, Peltor and MSA.
Similarly, with this adapter, the headset can be folded away from the ear when not in use, allowing noise and air to reach your ear. At the same time, however, acoustic protection and communication capabilities remain readily accessible and can be restored with a single movement.
