In this Smock is a specially designed with sniper clothing in mind as part of a multi-layered system. It is the outermost layer and therefore equipped with important functional elements such as an integrated mosquito net attachment in the adjustable hood that covers the entire head area, insect barrier in cuffs, vents on the chest and a zipper for joining Smock and Silent Warrior trousers which makes it especially difficult for insects to find a way under the clothes.
Because the jacket is designed to be worn over normal clothing, it is a bit wider and therefore grants adequate freedom of movement. It can be size adjusted in the biceps area, the cuffs and the waist for an optimal fit. For protection against shocks, it is possible to put in the elbow area Flex protectors. The CORDURA reinforcements in the elbow area provide good protection against abrasion.
On the back and shoulders loops are sewn on to attach additional camouflage material.
