All stickers and decals from the ASMC range are made from high-quality, robust materials such as PVC. Once applied to a smooth surface, the stickers provide an attractive appearance for months and years without wearing out too quickly.
After unpacking a decal or sticker, simply remove the protective film that covers the adhesive side of the sticker. All stickers adhere to any smooth surface, which should be cleaned and dried before applying the decal. Otherwise, dirt and dust may prevent the sticker from adhering perfectly or cause unsightly bumps. The surface can, for example, be cleaned with ethanol from the pharmacy, which removes grease residues without any problems.
Expert tip: One pair of pants for every situation
Old stickers or labels can be removed more easily if you heat them with a hair dryer. You must make sure that the hair dryer is not held too close or for too long in one spot. It’s best to move the hair dryer evenly back and forth over the sticker. After just a few minutes, the adhesive will be warm enough that you can peel the sticker off by hand.
If any residue remains, it is best removed with methylated spirits or the ethanol (cleaning petrol) mentioned above.
