Carinthia - Jacket G-LOFT ISG 2.0

Jacket used for 1 year in any type of condition. It is very comfortable and does its job very well. However, holes can appear in the areas of friction of the plate holder or chest rig quite quickly.

ASMC service and delivery top as always! I bought this jacket about a year ago because I had wanted something from Carinthia for a long time. The brand is known for its special forces and hunting equipment, so I thought the stuff was indestructible.. unfortunately I was disappointed. After a year of everyday use (never been in the woods or worked physically), I had to resew the zipper on an inner pocket, the seams on both cuffs soon open and there will soon be a hole in the front lining! No MilTec jacket falls apart so quickly... you can really only go out for coffee with it.

Great jacket. I can only recommend it. I've worn them in snow, light rain and wind so far. Nothing gets through and keeps you warm! Quality such as fabric and seams are top notch! I would buy them again at any time.

The quality and workmanship are top notch - really super good. The jacket functions as an everyday jacket for me. I can wear them any time of year. I can only confirm the stated comfort temperature of 10°C. When it's a bit colder, I simply put on a fleece jacket. And this jacket can also withstand rain showers. The aramid reinforcements on the shoulders are also very well thought out. This protects the material and ideally makes the jacket last longer. And the many pockets are a big plus. For example, I can safely store my cap, balaclava, gloves, pen, block water bottle, smartphone, keys, etc. in the jacket. Well... What don't I like about the jacket? Carinthia's own product images show a two-way zipper. In fact, the ISG2 does not have this at all, but only a zipper with a zipper. The jacket is also a bit strangely cut. I (1.83m/65kg) would easily fit twice in the jacket (XL). But the sleeve length fits. And the price of 260€ for a softshell jacket is a bit high. Otherwise, the jacket is really great and recommended for anyone looking for a cool but unobtrusive outdoor jacket for any activity. I wear it myself in the city and it's not particularly noticeable there. Therefore -> purchase recommendation if you get along with the above points!!
