Long underwear at ASMC - functional underwear for all weather conditions

We offer a wide range of functional underwear in the best quality for optimum comfort. Premium suppliers such as Brynje, Woolpower and X-Bionic have made it their mission to provide athletes and outdoor enthusiasts with high-quality long underwear that ensures excellent climate exchange at all times. The ASMC range is extensive and has the right long underwear for both summer and cold days.

Long underwear such as long johns or functional shirts for every season

Thanks to their special wearing properties, long underwear is not only suitable for the cold season. One of the main characteristics of functional underwear is its climate-regulating effect: whether long underpants or tops - their comfortable wearing properties make them wearable all year round!

With functional underwear and long johns from ASMC, excess heat and moisture is transported away from the body during all activities. On cold days, long underwear has an insulating effect.

Functional underwear is made from particularly soft materials for a comfortable feel: The fabrics of long johns and co. are usually odor-inhibiting and prevent the growth of microbes, which means they can be worn for several days without any problems. This means that long underwear supports sporting activities in particular: even during strenuous activities, high-quality functional underwear from ASMC does not allow odors to build up.

Optimal fit of functional underwear

It is generally recommended that long underwear fits close to the skin. This ensures that long underpants and the like absorb perspiration and wick moisture away to the outside.

Functional underwear is designed so that its stretchy fabrics feel comfortable against the skin and do not restrict movement. Long johns and functional shirts therefore provide maximum comfort and optimum freedom of movement despite their close fit.

In addition, long johns that are worn as the bottom layer and are not skin-tight can cause pressure points. In this case, the functional underwear may cause unpleasant marks and chafing, especially in the hollow of the knee.

If long underpants or functional underwear are worn as the bottom layer in the so-called onion principle, their materials, such as synthetic fibers or virgin wool, release moisture to the layers above in the form of water vapor. Functional underwear therefore ensures a balanced, dry body climate during all outdoor activities.

The onion principle allows the user to react to short-term temperature fluctuations or changes in the weather: Long underpants or functional shirts, which form the bottom layer, can quickly become the top and only layer by the user taking off all the layers above.

Functional underwear and long johns are real all-rounders. They are all-rounders that should be part of every outdoor adventure kit. Whether for sporting activities, Sunday trekking or walking your beloved four-legged friend: functional underwear from ASMC ensures optimum comfort and the best body climate at all times.

Questions: Underwear

Which materials are suitable for long johns and functional shirts?

Generally speaking, long johns & co. made of polyester or new wool are the better choice. If you want to use a blended fabric for your functional underwear, you should make sure that the cotton content is as low as possible. Long underwear that consists largely of cotton fabric cannot guarantee the level of breathability that polyester or virgin wool, for example, can.

How tight should long underwear fit?

Long underpants and functional shirts should ideally fit snugly against the skin. This is the only way that long underwear can ensure that moisture in the form of sweat is absorbed by the materials and transported away from the body. Chafing and pressure points can also be avoided if functional underwear fits as tightly as possible. However, the close fit to the skin is not restrictive: The user is not restricted in any way by long johns and the like and enjoys maximum comfort and optimum climate exchange at all times.
