History of the HANTA brand

The story of HANTA (derived from the English “hunter”) is truly unique and at least as exciting as the products from HANTA themselves. The German-born founder and inventor of the HANTA brand is a globetrotter and former soldier. He grew up in Canada and served for several years with the Green Berets – none other than the longest-serving special forces unit of the US Army.

Even during his service, he constantly optimized his tactical gear himself. In 2007, after Operation Medusa, he decided to leave the Green Berets. His dream was to design his own tactical backpacks. After all, who knows better what gear should look like than someone who has actually used it in the field? And so he ultimately fulfilled his dream of becoming self-employed.
This is how HANTA was born!
