The water-repellent Alpha Industries flight jacket MA-1 convinces with stability and comfort. You can stow your valuables in the sleeve pockets, two spacious hand pockets and two inside pockets. The outer material keeps you dry and the inner lining has a signal function due to its orange color. A robust brass front zipper with wind flap and knitted cuffs on the sleeves, waist and collar round off the jacket.

Yes, I also have an original from the past “made in USA” and was always of the opinion that moving production to Asia must be disadvantageous. That is not the case at all with the Alpha Industries MA-1. In a direct comparison, I have to say that the current version is of absolutely high quality. The jacket is slightly thicker and slightly longer than my “made in USA” model. I am 1.88 m tall and wear size L. It fits me perfectly. I can highly recommend the jacket, I'm not missing anything compared to the old model, I'm thrilled.
