The Falcon II is a backpack suitable for field applications with outstanding features. In the zippered pouch for the hydration pack can with the optional Hook and Loop holster (Holster sold separately - Item No. 52074) a concealed handgun be carried.
The modular belt system allows the attachment of additional equipment.The padded back in conjunction with the ergonomically shaped and well padded, breathable shoulder straps provide a perfect fit. A carrying handle and abrasion resistant bottom complete the package.
As Daypack this backpack provides ample storage space for short term usage.

Quality comes at a price and it's the same here. When you unpack it for the first time, you already have the feeling that this backpack is indestructible. I've had it for about 1 year now and I can't see any signs of wear and tear. The layout is well thought-out and offers many organizational options

Maxpedition Falcon 2 Positive: +excellent material +excellent workmanship +additional Teflon coating against rain +very clean workmanship +enough pockets and compartments for organization in the backpack +additional floor coating for protection +very good comfort even with heavy weight over long distances (30 km with 26.7 kg) Negative -Very high price -barely usable for tours lasting longer than 2 to 3 days. -Large objects don't fit in because the backpack consists of 3 smaller/narrow pockets and only one large/deep pocket. Conclusion: Despite the high price, this is a backpack for years and every occasion. Trip to the city, day, 2.3 day tours are also limited but even then it has reached its limit. A very good result for a backpack of this “size”. :-) After extensive testing, the backpack can be recommended without hesitation.”

I can only agree with my prescribers; quality and functionality are paramount with this backpack. I'm an absolute Maxpedition fan, I have a lot of products and you can't really say anything bad about any of them. BUT you have to spend a FORTUNE for fun. When you look across the big pond, your eyes get wet, because that's where the fun costs half as much. I give a good 4 stars (because of the price) and tip ASMC to include even more Maxpedition products. Unfortunately I had to buy my Fatty Organizer from the competition. Tip still for all the several maxp. Want to buy things, the 20% card makes ASMC in Germany get rid of competition in price.

In my opinion, a great backpack! Proven Maxpedition quality and enough Molle webbing to extend the backpack or attach equipment to it. The price may be a bit high, but if you're looking for something multifunctional and durable, the Falcon is the right choice. Still only 4* because of the slightly too high price.
