The Böker Plus Pocket Knife Seenotretter 01 silver is a high-quality and reliable tool that was specially developed for use on the high seas. It meets the high demands that sea rescue is faced with every day.
The pocket knife is made entirely of stainless steel and offers a variety of functions. The main blade made of 1.4116 stainless steel has a half shaft that allows it to effortlessly cut through encrusted ropes and straps. The knife also contains a marl spike, which is used to puncture hardened knots. The Marlspike is also equipped with a shackle and bottle opener to assist you in various situations.
The blades of the Seenotretter 01 are held securely in position by a robust slip-joint mechanism. This mechanism ensures that the blades are tightly closed when not in use, while also making it easier to open with one hand during use. To ensure maximum durability and reliability, solid domehead rivets were used instead of screws.
The design of the pocket knife is inspired by sea rescue and bears the well-known logo of the sea rescuers with a Hanseatic cross on the front shell. This gives the knife a special maritime touch. In addition, carrying the knife is particularly comfortable and easy thanks to the deep carry clip (Tip-Up/r). A generously sized cord loop ensures that the knife doesn't get lost.
