Mil-Tec - BW Marine Coat

I am very happy with my purchase! The pea coat offers excellent value for money, with a nice cut and a good quality fabric. It's perfect for chilly days and adds a stylish touch to any outfit. However, for people of size S who are thin, it is possible that the pea coat is a bit wide at the shoulders or waist. In this case, it might be a good idea to consider a short visit to the seamstress for adjustments. That said, I highly recommend this pea coat for its style and comfort!

1m90, 80kilos, I went for a size XL (I would have tested size L just to see, but good). The coat reaches below the knee fold. Heavy, but effective against rain and wind (don't stay under for 3 hours either ^^). I replaced the gold buttons with the black ones (supplied with). As a result, these were very well sewn (in view of the other comments, it is therefore a lottery). Slightly curved cut at the waist, good quality fabric, great aesthetic finish, and to repeat a comment: “the price is scandalously low!” On the other hand, I had to sew the lining of a pocket (it took me 5 minutes), so nothing serious. (just to have something negative to say.)

I discovered this site while I was looking for a coat and I must say I was amazed. the product arrived in 6 days (including two non-working days), which is great considering that it is shipped from central Germany. As soon as I arrived I was immediately surprised by the weight: you immediately feel that you have an excellent product in your hands, both for the important mass and for the quality of the materials. The buttons have a beautiful gold color, engraved on top of a beautiful maritime anchor. the lining is a mix of viscose and wool, very nice to the touch and perfect for colder days. the interior is made of a more artificial fabric, but in general it is more than fine. We also find a large inner pocket, where you can put more things, and the classic internal buttonhole to better close the coat. I think the quality-price ratio is excellent, especially for the quality of the product. I'm 1.80m tall and I got a size M, which is great. I recommend it to anyone who wants to look more elegant and original, while remaining classic and composed.

I bought the coat in size L (height 1.82 m, weight 87 kg) and it fits perfectly. I always have a size L. The material is very well made and the coat is as heavy as it should be. Unfortunately, I had to remove an asterisk just for the buttons: as mentioned by other customers, they hang on the coat in a rather unstable way. After approx. 5 times of use, one fell off. That's why I'm going to have them replaced with the included black buttons, which look more stable. This will certainly look a bit more suitable for everyday use... But everything else is great, I can only recommend the coat!

It's a really nice coat. The coat completely meets my expectations and is very comfortable to wear. The weight of 2.6 kg is completely okay and gives you a valuable feeling. The buttons actually fall off very quickly and require a new attachment (another version has already been ordered; black plastic buttons were included). The fabric looks pretty solid, the inner pockets are a bit simple/thinner in the fabric. I ordered the coat in size S, although I usually prefer M/L (1.73 m, 84 kg), but read the previous reviews with appropriate information about the size. A suit or jacket still fits underneath and is still comfortable to wear. I particularly like the length of the coat and was also one of the decision criteria, as well as the color black. The delivery was very quick. A clear purchase recommendation for every person who likes a “simple” coat with a maritime look. Probably not for Boss/Bugatti or comparable brand owners.
