The dangler turns the already well-known knife sheath into a belt fastener in which a metal ring is placed between the belt loop and the sheath. The holster can now adapt better to the movements and is no longer so often in the way. This is particularly noticeable when sitting or when wearing longer jackets and large backpacks with a hip belt.
The D-ring, constructed as a carabiner, is made of sturdy Aluminum and can withstand up to 400 kg. Therefore, it is not only suitable for attaching the knife sheath, but also, for example, for anchoring a dog leash. It can also be used to hang up tarpaulins or hammocks.
The dangler can accommodate belts up to 5 cm wide, while the D-ring fits knife sheaths with a belt loop up to 34 mm wide.
