The helmet assembly for night vision devices is made entirely of metal and was manufactured using the CNC milling process. The assembly is attached to the front of the helmet with the help of the base plate in the mount provided for this purpose. The latch locks only on original specification helmets and can be used to use the following night vision goggles: AN/PVS-7A; AN/PVS-7C; AN/PVS-7B; AN/PVS-14; AN/PVS-15; AN/PVS-18; AN/PVS-21.
