Mil-Tec - German Army Parka Flecktarn New

The size doesn't match. I'm usually well served with XL, but I can't close this parka (size 54). It is the Mil-Tec copy of the old BW parka and at Mil-Tec 54 corresponds to about XL (the Mil-Tec copy of the American M65 jacket, on the other hand, fits me just fine in XL). That's why he's definitely going back. Furthermore, the color of the parka appears much greenish to me than that of the original, whose color was more (stone) grey-olive if my memory doesn't deceive me. The fabric quality of the outer fabric also appears thinner to me than back then. That is another reason why the part goes back. Actually, I don't really need this parka. There are better and - above all - more rainproof jackets available today. I ordered it more for nostalgia reasons, because it reminds me of my time at university in the 80s (yeah, it's loaang here...) but unfortunately the Mil-Tec copy doesn't reflect my memories well enough. So I'm going to (have to) try out the copies from other manufacturers.

The quality of my new parkas is impeccable. I have already snuggled into it during my walks with my dog. I can only recommend the retailer. Exchanging the wrong size of clothing was completely unproblematic.
