The Elite Jungle by LOWA is a professional jungle boot for humid-hot operation areas. The on both sides attached eyelets serve not only for better ventilation, but also allow, that soaked in water can drain off, without having to take off the boots. This is a significant advantage particular compared to a normal boot on moist-wet and swampy ground. The lacing system provides a perfect fit on the foot.
The outer sole is specially suited for rough terrain and offers an optimal grip on moist-wet ground.

I already have 3 pairs of LOWA. I had no problems before. But this pair is totally disappointing. Totally uncomfortable and unfortunately “hot”. The back of my feet (at the heel) is totally burned after a simple short walk. Really very disappointed.

I have only been able to test the shoes in mainland France for the moment. They are comfortable and relatively light. I will really see what they are worth in autumn in Guyana.

Unfortunately, my first review was never posted here. Now another attempt in short version: Place of production: Italy, size: exact, comfort; top, Production quality: Unfortunately, there were drastic plastic residues in the lining that I had to remove. The sole gives the impression that it won't stick to the shoe for long because it is not stitched, let's see. General: Much too warm for the tropics. Price/performance ratio is not right at all. It doesn't seem to be a real Lowa product, but a purchase.
