Savotta - Backpack Jääkäri L Border Hunter

The Border Hunter is modeled after the Border Patrol backpack, which is still in use by the Finnish Border Patrol. It has been improved through user feedback and ideas for a rugged and reliable backpack.

Due to its slim shape, it is suitable for ski expeditions or tours in difficult terrain. The sturdy frame system, the padded shoulder and hip straps make it comfortable to carry even with heavy loads. With the compression straps, light or poorly packaged backpacks are no problem, the contents are tightened down so the do not slide around.

The main compartment is equipped with a waterproof roll closure with 25 mm buckle. This allows over packing and continuous adjustment of the backpack height between 60-80 cm. An additional cover protects the contents with adjustable straps on both sides. It is supplemented with a zipped pocket and a Hook and Loop surface (5 x 13 cm) for attaching a name tape.

Furthermore, the main compartment is divided into a lower and upper compartment. The lower one is particularly designed for storing the sleeping bag. There is also space for a notebook and documents. In the upper compartment, a hydration system can be directed out through the opening provided.

The carrying system has been unchanged for more than 25 years and developed for demanding circumstances: The inner frame structure is designed to carry the backpack well even in dense terrain without getting caught on branches for example. Wide padded shoulder and waist straps balance the weight optimally.
The load-control straps allow you to carry the backpack close to the body, which is especially useful in tactical situations where you have to run.
