The Zippo Replacement Wick for Zippo Lighters is the ideal solution if your lighter no longer lights properly. The wick should be changed if the ignition process has to be repeated several times. With this high-quality replacement wick you can quickly and easily get your Zippo lighter back into use.
Method:
1. Remove all components of the gasoline tank (kindling screw, felt lid, cotton wool, old wick).
2. Thread the new wick either from top to bottom through the chimney or from bottom through the gas tank.
3. Bend the tip of the wick over the chimney to hold the wick in place when assembling.
4. Put the cotton pieces back in exactly the same order as they were removed. When inserting, loop the wick in an S-line through the cotton pieces so that the wick has as much contact as possible with the filling material.
5. Place the felt lid back on the flint tube and close it with the pressure spring. Make sure that the flint does not fall out during this process.
6. Cut the wick at the edge of the chimney and reinsert the insert into the housing.
- Contents: 1 x replacement wick
