The abbreviation M.A.R.S. stands for Modular Attack Backpack Standard and describes a daypack with 30 liters of storage space. The interior division allows either the insertion of a plastic reinforcement for a more comfortable wear or an up to 3 liter water bladder. In the middle compartment there is a compartment with two straps, which was developed for radios such as SEM70 or devices of the PRC series. In the lid are passages for antennas or the drinking tube. Side pockets such as the combat pockets or universal side pockets can be attached to the side Molle loops for additional storage space. The carrying system with ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and split padding enhances the fit on a protective vest and provides better ventilation without a vest. During transport, the straps can be stowed behind the upholstery so that they do not get caught.
