Meindl - Boots Black Cobra GTX

Even though I am aware that I had received a Monday model... it was a disaster. The shoe was not properly made and pressed uncomfortably on the ankle. So complain: Sent to ASMC, then to the manufacturer because of two repair rights. Weeks went by and nothing happened. When asked by ASMC: “We haven't received the shoes yet.” The next day: “They're already with the manufacturer.” Oh... and after more than 2 months, they came back in exactly the same condition. Then I had to return it again, got an incorrect shipping label.. again it took over 2 months and it still hasn't been fixed. Then I was finally able to return them to ASMC and get my money back.. that also lasted a good 3 weeks. Overall, the fun took me tons of emails and more than 3/4 years. The boots themselves were okay in principle. Too cold even for winter with our modest temperatures. In addition, you always have to impregnate them despite the Gore-Tex membrane.. I now have 2 pairs of LOWA boots, which must be impregnated despite Gore-Tex, but are otherwise much better. The current price here is also a roar. No more ASMC/Meindl

Even after 4 hours in very wet terrain, my feet were dry! The shoe didn't have to be shrunk in, fits great and is very lightweight.
