The Guardian Plate Carrier Set by Helikon-Tex is a modular carrying system for tactically demanding missions. Whether in real operations, combat drills or tactical training – this set delivers the stability, flexibility and expandability needed by professionals and ambitious users.
The combination of plate carrier, cummerbund and front panel already provides a fully functional equipment solution out of the box that can be worn immediately – and easily expanded if required. Thanks to the MOLLE/PALS-compatible design, the setup can be individually adapted to your mission, your loadout or your tactical environment.

Which plates fit in the plate carrier?
- Suitable for SAPI standard plates size M (31.8 × 24.1 cm) and L (33.7 × 26 cm)
- Slightly elastic inner pockets compensate for dimensional tolerances of up to 0.5 cm
- Front and rear plate pockets provide a secure fit and even load distribution
- Ballistic plates are not included

Guardian Plate Carrier
The modular carrier forms the stable base of the Guardian system. It is designed for ballistic protection plates and offers secure support via front and back pockets.
Thanks to the MOLLE/PALS areas, the plate carrier can be flexibly adapted to individual mission requirements. Adjustable shoulder straps ensure high wearing comfort while maintaining a secure fit.

Guardian Cummerbund
The side connection strap secures the plate carrier while also adding additional attachment surfaces. MOLLE-compatible and comfortable to wear, the cummerbund offers space for side-mounted gear – e.g. radio, IFAK, or side pouches. It can easily be swapped for a quick-release version.
Helikon-Tex
Guardian Frontpanel Flap
The interchangeable front panel features integrated magazine pouches for three AR or AK magazines and offers additional MOLLE space for modular expansion. If needed, it can be swapped for other panels from Helikon Tex – for example, for different missions or training scenarios.

The Guardian Plate Carrier Set is not only ready for use right out of the box – it’s also the perfect platform for individual upgrades. Thanks to the continuous MOLLE/PALS system, additional pouches, pockets, radio modules or medical gear can be freely positioned – exactly as your mission profile requires.
All components of the set – the Guardian Plate Carrier, the cummerbund and the flap front panel – are interchangeable and compatible with further modules from the Guardian series by Helikon-Tex. For example, you can combine the set with the Guardian Kangaroo Flap, which is designed for additional inserts from the Law Enforcement or Competition system.
