The BW undershirt short-sleeve IDZ used is part of the modern Bundeswehr equipment within the IDZ – Infantryman of the Future system. Developed for demanding operational conditions, this original performance undershirt excels with breathable properties, high durability, and reliable next-to-skin comfort. Especially in tough working and deployment environments, every clothing layer counts—particularly the base layer. This undershirt supports a comfortable body climate and is ideal as a base layer under duty apparel, protective vests, or tactical gear.

The modular clothing of the new Bundeswehr generation was designed to perfectly combine modern materials with functional features. As a result, the shirt is suitable for year-round use—both in summer heat and cold winter conditions. The functional material structure helps wick moisture and provides comfortable wear, even during extended use. Depending on availability, models are supplied by Elve Uniforms or Trawena Sp.zo.o. and are genuine, field-proven stock from Bundeswehr surplus.

The base layer is close-fitting and cut slim. For a more comfortable fit, it is recommended to order one size larger.
